How do they bring God’s hope to the hurting?

Tess begins her work with hurting clients by first acknowledging the depth of their pain and validating the reality of their experiences. Building from this foundation of understanding, she then guides them in exploring their challenges through the use of evidence-based treatment approaches and the cultivation of self-compassion. For clients who hold religious beliefs, Tess incorporates the understanding that God, whom she views as the Wonderful Counselor, possesses the power to bring about healing that surpasses human comprehension.

What are their core values as a therapist?

As a therapist, Tess dedicates herself to providing care that is characterized by compassion, informed knowledge, and a structured approach. She is a firm believer in empowering her clients by equipping them with tangible coping skills. Her aim is to provide them with the tools necessary to navigate both their present difficulties and any future challenges they may encounter, fostering a sense of confidence and resilience.

Where are they outside of the therapy room?

Beyond her work as a therapist, Tess finds solace and rejuvenation in quiet pursuits. She enjoys the immersive experience of reading, the creative process of baking, and the simple pleasure of spending quality time with her husband and taking their beloved dog for walks.
