I graduated with a BSN w/high honors & Masters, both in Psychiatric Nursing from University of Texas
Nursing School at Austin Texas, post-grad work in UT school of Pharmacology in psychopharmacology.
Qualification/Experience
As a APRN with over 25 yrs experience, I am dedicated to coming alongside clients to help them attain to
the highest level of health possible. One of my strengths is holistic psychiatric evaluation. My aim is to
consider spiritual, physical, social, emotional and mental aspects of each person in forming diagnostic and
treatment recommendations. I try to treat conservatively, safely and in accordance with the values of the
client foremost.
I love children and usually have an easy natural rapport with them. I have great compassion for adults
struggling with psychiatric problems and connect easily with them as well.
I enjoy researching how diet, lifestyle, supplements and medical conditions affect mental health, and can be
incorporated into the treatment plan.
I am an active member of my church in Austin. In my free time, I love to watercolor, cook, spend time with
family, and get outside with my dogs or on my bike.
