How do they bring God’s hope to the hurting?
Liz integrates the Biblical, clinical, and neurological in practical and engaging ways. She also invites the Holy Spirit to speak to her during each session.
What are their core values as a therapist?
People describe Liz as comforting, encouraging, and strategic in providing specific skills, tools, and resources to meet their needs. As a leader, she prioritizes her own well-being and relationship with God, enabling her to show up with honor, mercy, and honesty, and to communicate clearly and empower her clients. Liz believes healthy feedback in sessions is a mutual process, welcoming client input and committing to clarifying next steps together. She also values celebrating the small wins that contribute to significant victories.
Where are they outside of the therapy room?
Liz often spends her free time outdoors on adventures with friends or family, enjoying healthy meals and deep conversations at restaurants, or at home, painting. Her experience as a former gymnast and ballroom dancer taught her the importance of a healthy life rhythm. After a period of chronic pain, adrenal fatigue, and grief that led to a sense of distance from God, Liz experienced intense anxiety. She is grateful for her journey back to health, aided by pastors, coaches, and functional and integrative medical professionals. Consequently, when she embarked on entrepreneurship and ministry, God reminded her to adjust her daily rhythm to suit the season. She prioritizes activities that support her spiritual, mental, physical, intellectual, and relational well-being. As she continues to see clients, lead coaching skills groups, and train churches, Liz hopes to remain authentically seeking what pleases God in all things.
