Who do they work with?
Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples
How do they bring God’s hope to the hurting?
Jake strives to be someone who simply listens when others might not. He offers a space where individuals can be themselves without facing judgment.
What are their core values as a therapist?
Jake believes that everyone inherently possesses the power to change, though they may need assistance in discovering it. He also recognizes that this change is contingent on the individual’s willingness to engage in the work of self-discovery. Rather than judging, offering advice, or dictating actions, Jake focuses on guiding his clients. He operates under the assumption that everyone is striving their best and communicating their truth, a perspective that allows him to be his most generous and empathetic self in his therapeutic approach.
Where are they outside of the therapy room?
Jake enjoys working out at the gym, going for runs around the block, playing guitar, taking his dog to the park, watching TV at home, and dining out at restaurants in Austin with his fiancé.
