She collaborates with clients to understand the underlying needs driving their actions, establish goals, and address obstacles hindering their achievement. Together, they cultivate a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship that can facilitate healing from emotional pain.
What are their core values as a therapist?
Heather’s core values as a therapist include the importance of validating emotional pain, empathy, clear and calm communication, and respecting the boundaries and values of others. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory Application, and other relevant schools of thought.
Where are they outside of the therapy room?
Heather enjoys spending time with her family, daydreaming by the lake, walking in nature, and appreciating the arts.
