How do they bring God’s hope to the hurting?
Claudette’s counseling journey began during her years at Texas A&M University, while playing on the Women’s NCAA Soccer Team. Through her experiences as a collegiate athlete, she discovered a purpose in encouraging and supporting others through adversity. Claudette realized that, regardless of the circumstance, interpersonal relationships are powerful and healing gifts from God. Now, as a therapist, she serves to bring God’s hope to those who are hurting through unconditional compassion and grace, as well as encouragement of both internal and external connection and restoration.
What are their core values as a therapist?
Claudette’s therapy focuses on a safe, empathetic, and collaborative space. She uses humor to build rapport and works with children, teens, and young adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life changes, as well as couples and families wanting better communication and conflict resolution. Claudette believes in people’s God-given resilience and ability to create change. Her goal is to equip clients with tools to use their strengths, cope effectively, reframe thoughts healthily, and confidently express their needs and boundaries, emphasizing a strong therapeutic relationship.
Where are they outside of the therapy room?
Outside of the office, Claudette enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, reading next to her two kitties, hosting game nights, going on walks, playing cozy video games, and re-watching her favorite comfort shows or movies.
