How do they bring God’s hope to the hurting?

Rachel is guided by the belief that God has equipped each of her clients with unique personalities, perspectives, and strengths to face the specific challenges in their lives. Her goal is to empower clients to embrace who they were created to be in order to pave their own path towards healing. Rachel hopes that through therapy, her clients not only experience restoration in their mental health but also a deeper connection to Christ, the ultimate source of restoration.

What are their core values as a therapist?

Rachel thrives off of collaboration and sees the relationship between therapist and client as a true partnership. She invites clients to provide ongoing feedback to ensure that they are getting the most out of therapy. She implements practical, evidence-based tools and strategies so clients are able to visualize their progress and feel equipped to face life’s challenges outside of the therapy office. Rachel also approaches treatment through a holistic mindset, guided by the understanding that mental health is interconnected with one’s physical and spiritual health. She welcomes clients to incorporate all three of these elements (physical, mental, and spiritual) into their treatment goals.

Where are they outside of the therapy room?

When not at work, Rachel loves sharing a meal with her husband (homemade or takeout), frequenting local coffee shops, and visiting with friends and family. She and her husband also love to travel and have hopes to visit every US National Park someday.
