Qualification/Experience

Jordan grew up in a small town in central Texas to a family of four. Beginning in 2011, Jordan attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where graduated with a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication/ Mass Media. While at Hardin-Simmons, Jordan realized she had a strong desire to work with people. She began to develop a deep passion for understanding individuals at their core, beyond what is seen on the surface. Soon after college, Jordan made the decision to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia to pursue her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It was during these three years in Virginia that helped mold Jordan into the counselor she is today. Some of Jordan’s core counseling values are:

  • Genuine empathy.

  • Meeting clients where they are.

  • The collaboration of faith and science.

  • Evidenced Based Treatments (EBT)

  • Working to build a strong therapeutic alliance.

  • Creating a safe environment to share and be known.

Jordan believes that life’s difficulties are best explored in relationship. Jordan believes in building strong therapeutic alliances with her clients to create a safe place to process, challenge, heal, learn and equip.

In her free time she enjoys cooking, a quality cup of coffee, exercising, thrift shopping, decorating, and meaningful conversation.
