Qualification/Experience
Elizabeth has worked at Austin State Hospital counseling with youth and adults. Elizabeth has a passion working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has experience in helping people from traumatic backgrounds, exploring self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, and addictions.
Elizabeth utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and person-centered therapy with her clients. She also incorporates motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques into counseling sessions.
Elizabeth and her husband Austen love raising their three children and spending quality time as a family. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, fishing, boating, going to the gym, and visiting parks with her family in the hill country. They are members of Austin Baptist Church and love serving the Lord locally.
One of Elizabeth’s favorite Bible verses is I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
